There is so much pressure to be perfect in this world, and one of the biggest pressures on spiritual women, especially spiritual entrepreneur women, is portal days.

Especially the big 8/8 Lionsgate.

Suddenly, your social media feed is filled with “5 affirmations to recite today” and “Manifest millions of dollars with this energy!” “Take advantage of these energies to call in your dreams!”.

The funny thing is that most of these posts were pre-written on days that are not the date.

Another factoid: Most of us on portal days feel exhausted, emotional, overwhelmed, and pressured to put on sales. Yep, I said it. I am not saying it’s wrong to offer sales on portal days, but it needs to feel GOOD, natural, and aligned. It needs to come from a place of service. If you’re trying to call in money from a place of exhaustion and lack, that won’t work for you.

I can’t count the number of times I sat exhausted, emotional, and overwhelmed on channeled portal calls. Hoping they would somehow fix me. Thinking I was broken and misaligned for feeling the way I did.

On the flip side, as we develop emotional trauma around fixed dates, we may inadvertently make the portal days harder than they need to be. So make sure you release those, too. 😉
